Usa, Trump: "Non c'è spazio per i transgender nelle forze armate"

26 luglio 2017 Il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump va in direzione opposta rispetto al suo predecessore Barack Obama e decide che i transgender non potranno servire nelle forze armate americane. Lo annuncia lo stesso Trump via Twitter.  

 "Dopo consultazioni con i miei generali ed esperti militari, informo che il governo degli Stati Uniti non accettera' o consentira'... ad individui transgender di servire, in qualsivoglia ruolo, nelle forze armate degli Stati Uniti", ha scritto Trump in una serie di tweet. "I nostri militari devono concentrarsi su decisive e schiaccianti vittorie e non possono essere oberati dai tremendi costi medici e disagi che comporta avere transgender nelle forze armate. Grazie".
