Sulla scia di Vida Movahed si allarga il movimento delle donne iraniane contro il velo obbligatorio.
Protagonista della protesta del "velo sul bastone" delle donne iraniane che circola in queste ore sui social una donna anziana ripresa in un video che sta diventando virale e suscita commozione. Mostra la donna mentre a fatica sale sul bordo di una fontana in quello che sembra il giardino pubblico di un quartiere residenziale per poi annodare il velo bianco sulla punta del bastone che le serve per camminare e sventolarlo in supporto alla causa delle donne:
